President's Message:
Dear members,
Over the next 2 weeks you will be receiving information regarding our upcoming health care OPEN ENROLLMENT period. The health care consortium is continuing to work to organize districts, negotiate with the health care companies and develop future plans. At this time our EA will be following the terms of our contract for the 2012-2013 school year which states that we will have 2 plan options available to members (Blue Cross 10-20-70 and Keystone HMO). Members who are currently utilizing the Personal Choice 7 and the Keystone point of service plan will have to choose from the remaining 2 plans. We are currently part of the consortium but the plans are not yet available. When the plans are finalized we will have the option to enroll in those plans most likely next school year. Please check your IU email for information about open enrollment information. Please be sure that you complete the open enrollment process which will be an online process through the new employee access center/ portal. All members must logon to the portal and follow the instructions even if you are not changing plans. HR will also have extended office hours on the nights of May 16 and 17th to assist members who have questions.
Thank you!
